Percentages

I have figured out the percentages of each nationality for all ancestors of George Lenagh and his siblings, Marie, Jesse, Susan, Ben and Frank.

They are 50% Irish, 43.75% French, 3.125% Pawnee Indian and 3.125% Black, or 1/2 Irish, 7/16 French, 1/32 Indian and 1/32 Black.

So if I look at myself or any of my siblings, we can claim German, Irish, Norwegian, English, French, Dutch, Scottish, Black and Pawnee Indian. I'm working on a chart.

Larry Leaneagh Larry Leaneagh family - Arlouine Palmer was married before Del to Wade Coon. Del adopted her child, Larry, who is Jerry's half-brother. My genealogy program doesn't display both families at the same time. Here will be their story.
9 generations of Grandma Palmer This is 9 generations of Norwegian ancestors starting with Grandma Palmer and going back to the 1500's. I found this set of books, all in Norwegian, by Olav Kolltveit called "Odda, Ullensvang og Kinsarvik i gamal og ny tid" dated 1971. Through the Inter-Library Loan program, and with a Norwegian-American dictionary I figured out birth, marriage and death information.

Ahnentafel for Jerry Leaneagh

coming soon

AHNENTAFEL IS GERMAN for ancestor (ahnen) table (tafel). Preparing an ahnentafel chart is a very efficient way of organizing your pedigree chart in order to make it quickly understandable.

On a standard pedigree chart, each person is assigned a number. These numbers are worth remembering since, if you follow the traditional numbering system, just by looking at a number you can know the relationship of any person on the chart to yourself. You are always 1, your father 2, your mother 3, paternal grandfather 4, paternal grandmother 5, maternal grandfather 6, maternal grandmother 7, patrilineal great grandfather 8, and so on in consecutive fashion.
